Depending on the item(s) you purchase on Bastropscalestore.com and the location to which the items will be delivered, different shipping methods are available. At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your item(s). Shipping costs are based on the shipping method of choice and the weight of the order. Your total shipping charges will automatically compute during checkout prior to the completion of your order.
Generally, you will have the option to upgrade your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Air or Express service). If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 2 p.m. CST. Your order may not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
• Ground, (5-7 business days)
Most items may be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via Standard Ground service. You can expect your order to arrive within 5-7 full business days. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
• Air, (3-5 business days)
Most items may be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via Air service. You can expect your order to arrive within 3-5 full business days. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
• Express, (1-2 business day)
Most items may be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States via Express service. You can expect your order to arrive within 1-2 full business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

All warranty service for original customers is provided by the manufacturer of the product purchased. Warranty terms vary from product to product. Please be sure that you read the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions as soon as you receive your product. To use the manufacturer’s warranty, please check your owner’s manual for the customer service number of the manufacturer of the product you purchased. You can e-mail us at email@example.com and we can assist you in obtaining the correct customer service number. You will be responsible for all shipping cost associated with returning the scale/balance to the manufacturer.
Bastrop Scale Co., Inc. does not guarantee availability of product at time of ordering. Customer will be notified if the item(s) is on back-order.
Pricing, specification, and availability of our products are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors or manufacturers claims. If there is a specific feature or characteristic that you must have -- please mention it at the time of the quote or worst case at the time of the order placement. We can check and see if the feature is included and save all of us a lot of time and effort. We are not responsible for the extra costs and trouble that is caused by customer's who order the wrong item or assume that certain equipment will do certain things. Please, ask before you buy!
Any additional charges for changes in delivery address will be the responsibility of the customer. Our responsibility ceases when product is shipped.
Note: Many times delivery drivers will leave packages on the front porch, in the garage, at the front door, etc... and never get a signature. If you're concerned that your package could be stolen before you are able to retrieve it, you need to mention that at the time of ordering so that we can request that the delivery driver must get a signature before leaving the item. Or, you can have the item shipped where you know it will be signed for.
Otherwise, if your item is delivered and then stolen, we are not responsible for that and you will have to work with your local police and/or the delivery company to try and find your item.
We will work with you to resolve any issue.
Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt, please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a return authorization claim number at firstname.lastname@example.org . All claims MUST be made within 10 days of receipt of order. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.
Returns for credit are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer.
Restocking fees are applicable on any return or refund -- Despite charging the restocking fee, we lose money on returned items because of shipping, time, handling, repackaging, item depreciation, credit card transaction fees, and other costs.
No returns or cancellations on special orders.
A 50% deposit by check or credit card will be required on all special or custom orders.
